Unit Overview: I found it on the Internet, it must be true?

In this unit, students will develop the ability to find, evaluate, and use information effectively. Students will learn effective search strategies, evaluation techniques, and how to determine the quality, credibility, and validity of information found online. Students will also explore the topics of “information overload” and will learn how to properly filter information through RSS feeds to build a personal learning network. Students will gain an understanding of how the Internet and browsers work and the differences between apps and cloud computing, Students will analyze the impact of social media on how people access and share information.
